Allowed Sender IDs

With touchSMS you have the ability to set up multiple Sender IDs – Alphanumeric and Verified Number.

Things to consider when adding Sender ID’s;

Alphanumeric Sender ID
  • Customers cannot reply to message send using an Alphanumeric Sender ID
  • Alphanumeric Sender IDs cannot be used when sending SMS to Canada, New Zealand and USA
Verified Number
  • Replies to SMS sent using your Own Number will be received on your handset. You will not be able to see replies in your touchSMS account.
  • You will be required to manage opt-outs yourself.

 

Adding an Alphanumeric Sender ID to your touchSMS account, go to;

1. Settings > Allowed Sender IDs

2. Enter Your Sender ID into the field – keeping in mind Alphanumeric Sender IDs can only be 11 characters long and cannot contain any spaces or symbols.

3. Click Save.

 

Adding a verified number to your touchSMS account, go to;

1. Settings > Allowed Sender IDs

2. Click on Verify Number tab.

2. Enter Your Number into the field, and click send code.

3. A verification code will be sent to Your Number, once received enter the Verification Code in the next field

3. Click Verify & Save.

 

Tip: You can delete a Sender ID on your account by clicking on the ellipsis icon (⋮) then Delete.
